Susanne Kelly is Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Promise Broker, Inc. (a firm offering Complexity Science based Human Capital Management Consulting and Software for dynamic organizations). Previously, Susanne was in the Citigroup Corporate Technology Office as Director of their Complexity and Organizational Behavior Program. She chronicled her early work in “The Complexity Advantage”, published as a McGraw Hill Business Week Book in late 1998. The Wall Street Journal carried a four+ star review that concluded: “I strongly suspect that the insights of complexity science will blaze a bright new trail for business. There is no better place to start the journey than here.”

Susanne has served on the Carnegie Mellon University SEI CMM Advisory Board; the Strategy Board for the US Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools and the National Science Foundation Review Panel for grant funding in Innovation and Organizational Change. Ms Kelly was also part of a futurist team invited by the Department of the Navy, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, to participate in a wargame on the topic of “Command and Control in the Navy of the Future”. She has guest lectured at Universities in the US (Duke, Rutgers), Italy (ISUFI) and UK (London School of Economics). She also designed and delivered a Masters course on Knowledge Management for Royal Roads University in Canada. She has been named an Honorary Research Associate by the Royal Holloway, University of London and a fellow at the Institute for the Study of Coherence and Emergence in Boston.

Susanne lives in the Los Angeles area has two grown daughters. Megan received her Master's from Harvard Divinity School and is a Chaplain at Winthrop Medical Center on Long Island. Tara completed her BS in linguistics at Georgetown University and is executive assistant to Chef David Bouley in New York. Susanne Holds a BA in Music from Chatham College and an MS in Business from Columbia University.
