DR. JULIA TAYLOR

Dr. Julia Taylor is an experienced business consultant. She has conducted extensive research into alternative methods of communication, group dynamics, and individual and group productivity. Recently, she has focused on the growing need for companies to understand and manage their increasingly complex business environment. Her approach utilizes key concepts from the emerging new science known as "The Science of Complexity". One key element of her focus is on identifying and developing methodologies to assist organizations in being able to incorporate numerous variables into their operational model without oversimplifying their operations and, therefore, missing the inclusion of critical success factors. It is in this timely arena that she has devoted her energies and now offers a new seminar series called Taylor Success Systems.

After acquiring her doctorate in strategic business planning, Dr. Taylor provided executive consultation services for management and marketing issues. Her company, Taylored Decisions, offered a customized consulting approach which began with an assessment of the client's overall operation and compiled a view of the company from a holistic perspective.

From this base, she formulated projects that included market niche identification, market research, and market expansion. She also created and administered workshops and seminars for strategy development, team building, employee productivity enhancement, rewards and incentives development, and customer service improvement.

Tuned to the changing business environment, Dr. Taylor is assisting organizations with the major changes needed to adapt to today's social demands. She helps them gain access to tools and methodologies that allow them greater flexibility and greater ability to respond to changes, especially unexpected changes, while remaining profitable and progressive.

Dr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree, from Memphis State University (1978) where she majored in chemistry with a minor in mathematics. She was awarded an MBA from Santa Clara University in California (1988) and then earned a Doctorate in Business from the United States International University, now known as Alliant University, located in the Scripps Ranch Area of San Diego (1992).

Adding to her broad educational base in both business and technology, Dr. Taylor also earned an A.E.E.T. degree in electronic engineering from the Heald Institute of Technology in San Francisco and worked in several high tech organizations, including Buckman Laboratories and Intel Corporation.
