Cynthia King, PhD, has over 25 years of experience as a communication and organizational development consultant, facilitator and trainer. She has consulted with a wide variety of government agencies, corporations, non-profit, and educational organizations around a variety of organizational topics including:
• Interpersonal and intercultural communication
• Managing change and transitions
• Transforming conflicts: moving from power-over to power-with
• Building collaborative teams and partnerships
• Building personal leadership capacity
• Facilitator training, meetings management, and strategic planning
In addition to her consulting work, Dr. King has taught communication courses at California State University, Chico, Feather River College, and Antioch University, Santa Barbara. Dr. King holds an MA degree in Intercultural Communication and a Doctorate in Mythology and Depth Psychology, with an emphasis on organizational applications.
