Whereas some processes have
the goal of eliminating conflict, this process begins by
embracing it. It encourages participation that evokes deep
exploration of pertinent aspects of a problem or challenge. As
participants begin to understand each other through active
interaction, the process of conflict resolution begins.
By focusing energy on the project of building or
creating, individuals learn the process of “collaboration by
design”. Implementation methods include both visual and hands-on
methods such as the use of flow charts, mind mapping, art
creation, and building with miniature
toys.
